Essay

The basic components of the Don-Ukrainian relations - political, diplomatic, military, trade and economic - are analyzed. The features of the political course of various Ukrainian governments on a Cossack Don are defined. The process of preparing, concluding and implementing bilateral agreements is researched. The background and attempts to solve the border problem are revealed. Both the military cooperation and an armed confrontation between Ukraine and the Don are reviewed. The influence of German Empire, Soviet Russia and Kuban People's Republic on the development of Ukrainian-Don relationship is dealt with questions.
