Essay

The dissertation is a theoretical and experimental investigation, based on the experience of German universities dealing with the preparation for the work with educationally neglected youth of future teachers. In the dissertation was defined the essence of the phenomenon "educational neglection of youth" from the point of view of German scientists; there were also analysed and systematized positive achievements of higher education in Germany; there were formulated pedagogical conditions to prepare the students for work with educationally neglected adolescents (in particular the formation of research skills of the teachers and philologists; activation of critical thinking among students as a basis for the assessment and implementation of effective means of working with educationally neglected youth, enrichment of work skills development with these groups of students and their unbiased treatment); there was clarified the essence and structural components (motivational, informational and procedural) of the following definition: "readiness to work with the educationally neglected youth", various criteria (personal, educational, operational), and it's corresponding indicators and levels (low, medium, high). The research paper presents the implementation of these teaching methods at universities of Germany and Ukraine and describes the most effective approaches in the form of constructive ideas.
