Sabadukha O. Social responsibility as a factor of the civil society development: Socio-philosophical Analysis

The thesis is devoted to development of problems of social responsibility as a factor of the civil society development. The analysis of social responsibility is based on the concept of spiritual and practical development of peace in the context of subject-object-subject relations between the economic activities subjects. We prove that the social responsibility is inherent to the individual with developed personality of the essential powers and who is motivated by social interests. It is established that a person has a social responsibility to take towards the society in general and future generations. Social responsibility is investigated in conjunction with the discursive and communicative practices, civil society in Europe and Ukraine. We ground the necessity of decentralization of power and transmission of a significant amount of authority to local communities so that contributes to the formation of citizens social responsibility for the processes of government. We analyze the role of such factors of civil society in Ukraine, as increasing social responsibility of the state and its agencies, politicians and community leaders, local authorities, business elites, political parties, public organizations and Christian churches. It is determined that the development of civil society in Ukraine is possible only within the existence of a critical mass of socially responsible individuals, overcoming clan and corporate benefit of certain social groups and the formation of social interest in public entities.
