Ermakova N. Girl's album as a speech genre: structural, communicative, pragmatic analysis.

The object is the girl's album as a speech genre. The aim is linguopragmatic analysis of the girl's album in terms of its genre. The methods are discourse analysis, linguistic modeling, linguocultural analysis, proper linguistic analyses: observation and comparison, component and contextual analysis, linguistic analysis.The thesis provides a complex analysis of structural, communicative, and pragmatic characteristics of a written speech genre represented by "girl's album" as an integral verbal part of the girl's subculture discourse. The girl's album is shown as a heterogeneous, hierarchically arranged, hyper-genre formation consisting of three levels, the main structural units being represented by hyper genre, and subgenres of the first and second levels. A three-level system allows determining main and peripheral characteristics of the album: oppositions inside the genre system, determinant character of author-listener categories, verifiability of an individual author's origin, principles of communicative interaction during creation of albums, linguistic and creolized features of texts, structural elements in construction of subgenres, frame borders of a hyper genre.
