The object of the research is mining and technical artifacts nominations in the Russian language. The terms system of Russian mining and technical artifacts complex research in system and cognitive-onomasiological aspects constitutes its aim. The methods applied - analytical, quantitative assessment, stepped identification, componential analysis, formal and structural, onomasiological, dialectical. The dissertation singles out a fragment of nominative space which has never been an object of complex research in Russian Philology. It pioneers: the frame systematization of mining and technical artifacts nomination (MTAN) and the revealing of their representation peculiarities in the Russian language; the analysis of mining and technical artifacts nomination category notional structure system organization, MTAN main subcategories and lexical-semantic groups definition and description; the revealing of synonymy, antonymy and polysemy peculiarities in the system of MTAN. The research defines typical patterns of mining and technical artifacts nomination, pioneers the determination and the description of derived, complex and compound MTAN basic cognitive and onomasiological patterns. The sphere is academic process.
