Essay

Object of research - the sorting process of car traffic volumes on the railways. The research was carried out using methods of systemic analysis, operational research, logic-probabilistic safety theory and algebra of logics, theory of algorithms. The research provides scientific approach towards the management of hump yards operation safety that ensures reasonable train splitting due to the minimization of risks that may be specific to the above technical mean and development of managerial approach towards the managed system. The results of the dissertation can be used during organization of operating work of railway transport.
