Essay

The thesis highlighted issues related to the improvement of organizational and pedagogical conditions of physical education of students, and promoting success in developing of extracurricular students motivation in physical training. For the first time we studied the need-motivational sphere of students of different years of study (both male and female) and athletes (male and female) to physical education classes and sports exercise, that proved that there are gender differences in students' interests to sports and physical education, in exercise motivation, attitude to the teacher personality by young people, etc. Taking into account complex investigation on motivation and factor analysis of 18-23-year-old males and females inner and outer factors influencing motives, aims, students' needs are determined helping the creation of appropriate methodological conditions by the teacher while organizing a physical training process on the basis of gender approach. Gender peculiarities (valuable orientation, life-sensing orientation, self-control capacity, psychological gender features) depending on the years of study and sports engagement, greatly influencing the formation of motivation are determined, which allow to focus on them while creating the conditions for their development during the educational process on physical education. Positive influence of masculine features among girls on going in for sport motivation is found out. The appearance of young males and females as a powerful factor of motivation in doing physical exercises is determined. The paper developed and presented recommendations for physical education university teachers for organizational and pedagogical condition improving aiming at the purpose of more successful formation of students' motivation to exercise in academic and extracurricular time on the basis of gender approach.
