Dissertation is devoted to theoretical and practical issues of representation of citizens' and the state interests by prosecutor in writ proceedings. Historical aspects of the formation and development of the writ proceedings and a representative activity of the prosecutor in the civil process were researched. The essence of writ proceedings and the legal nature of a court order were explored. The concept and content of prosecutor's representation of citizens and the state interests in writ proceedings, its reasons and bases, as well as procedural form were defined. We consider the issues concerning the representation of the notion "citizen's or the state interests".
