Essay

The dissertation is the first in the national historiography attempt to analyze the formation and development of industrial business in the Left-Bank Ukraine during difficult economic transformations which became possible after the elimination of feudal system and a series of major reforms in 60-70thyears of the 19th century. This research has revealed the difficult relations between the government and entrepreneurs who were actively involved into the development of government projects, contributed to the rise of entrepreneurship in the region, doing charity.
