Essay

The dissertation is the first comprehensive study of the history of the activities of government in the cities of Crimea (1785-1870) Based on the analysis of historiographical works of scientists, a representative set of sources described a set of activities that constitute an integral mechanism of the new phenomenon for the Crimea - the city government. The three sections of the thesis deals with the historiography and source base, represented by the methodological techniques systematized conceptual framework of the study. The basic activities in the economic and social spheres. Put in a large number of scientific use of previously unknown sources.
