Essay

The research resulted in outlining the theoretical foundation of primary trainee teachers' creativity. The current state of the problem in EU education policy and theory was revealed, the role and place of the UK in this context was defined. On the basis of analyzing concepts, definitions and models of creativity, it is concluded that, firstly, creativity is seen as a multidimensional phenomenon and is investigated from the standpoint of effective procedural, personal and contextual approaches; secondly, the main features of creativity are: using imagination, pursuing purposes, being original and judging value.
