Essay

In thesis comprises the results of research on identifying of pool alleles features of native subpopulations of Thoroughbred, Ukrainian Rider, Hucul, Akhal-tecke horses and Shetland ponies by means of microsatellite loci of DNA. A molecular genetic analysis of pedigree horses was conducted for their individual identification, parentage verification and genetic relationships among them. The thesis scientifically and experimentally proves the different informativeness of microsatellite loci for different horse breeds. Based on this the efficiency of use of loci for parentage testing, breed consolidation and belonging the individual to their own or other population by means of Assignment-test was determined.
