The article discusses the issue of organizational and pedagogical conditions for effective independent learning activities for future technology teachers (setting motivation for future technology teachers to independent educative and cognitive activity, giving information and methodological support to independent educational-cognitive activity of students in the study of professional disciplines from Information and Communication Technologies; explaining systematic organization of control and self-control by an independent educational-cognitive activity of future technologists) and defines the performance criteria independent educational-cognitive activity (motivational and evaluative, cognitive, operational, self-organizational).
