Essay

The thesis deals with the process of Greek colonization of the Northern Black Sea Littoral region in IV - I cc. BC. The historiography of the problem and its stages were analyzed. The thesis distinguishes the process of urban development of policies and the surrounding rural districts, the main industries were showed in research. The research also focused on ethno-political and demographic situation before and during colonization, highlighted the historical situation in the policies of the Northern Black Sea Littoral region. This research studied the cult of river God in Olbia, the cults of Achilles and the Apollon in the Northern Black Sea Littoral region, and the cult of Parthenos in Chersonesos. Special attention is paid to the Greek and barbarian ethnic and cultural cooperation in the region.
