The object is the professional pedagogical training of future teachers of physical education. The goal is to justify theoretically and test experimentally a model for the implementation of pedagogical conditions of preparation of future teachers of physical education to the monitoring of the physical condition of younger schoolchildren. Methods are theoretical, empirical, statistical. The novelty - pedagogical conditions of preparation of future teachers of physical education to the monitoring of the physical condition of schoolchildren were first defined and theoretically grounded. The essence and the structure of the phenomenon of "readiness of future teachers of physical education to the monitoring of the physical condition of younger schoolchildren" were determined. A model of the implementation of pedagogical conditions of preparation of future teachers of physical education to monitoring the physical condition of younger schoolchildren was developed. The notion of "monitoring of the physical condition of younger students" was specified. Further developed The method of preparation of future teachers of physical education to work with pupils of primary school age was further developed. The results - a method for diagnosing the level of readiness of future teachers of physical education to the monitoring of physical condition of school children was developed and tested.
