Andreyeva L. Public and educational activity of N. Samokish, the academician of painting (1860-1944).

Research object - M. S. Samokish as personality of socio-cultural and public space of Ukraine. A purpose is the analysis of public and educational activity of the prominent Ukrainian artist, academician of painting M. S. Samokish and determination of his place in cultural development of Ukraine. Methods: classifications, divisions into periods, retrospective, historical-comparative, historical-sistematic, problem-chronologic, induction. The source base, historiography of the problem was analyzed. The conditions of personality formation and outlook of M. S. Samokish was showed, the factors that influenced his citizenship and his cosial activity was also analyzed. The role of the organizer and founder skills of M. Samokish as a creative organizer of Artists of Ukraine and Russia was demonstrated. The educational and pedagogical activities of M. S. Samokish were characterized. Field - educational process.
