Vynogradova O. Formation of scientific and pedagogical staff and curriculum background of teaching natural sciences at the Kharkiv of Technological Institute (in the late XIXth-early XXth centuries)

Object: the process of becoming natural science and natural science disciplines in higher technical school of Ukraine at the end of XIX -at the beginningof XX century. Aim:historical reconstruction of research activities in the field of natural science and programmatic providing of teaching in the Kharkov practical Technological Institute. Methods: analysis, synthesis, description, generalization. Results: the transformations that took place in the period of KhTI formation allowed to form a complete, high-quality, stable system of education. Novelty: the unpublished archival documents were inputted to the scientific use; data about scientific-pedagogical activity of KhTI scientist weredefined; the system of formation of KhTI staffis illustrated; the features of researchwork in the natural sciencesis determined; the process of modernization of curriculais shown; the contradictions in thetransformationfrom courseworkto subject system of education were determined. The degree of implementation: materials used in the teaching of the course "History of Science and Technology" for the Faculties of integrated technologies and chemical technique (IT), technology of organic substances (TOR). Sphere of using: materials will be useful in the preparation of scientific papers in the history of higher technical education, the history of science and technology, in the teaching of special coursesabout history of NTU "KPI".
