Object - the process of professional and pedagogical training of teachers of philological disciplines; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions of training future teachers of philological disciplines for organization of students' educational and research activity on the levels of students' professional readiness; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research is the first to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions of efficient training of future teachers of philological disciplines for organization of senior pupils' educational and research activity; the specific nature of readiness of future teachers of philological disciplines for organization of senior pupils' educational and research activity is specified; the ideas concerning the organization of pedagogical practice of prospective teachers of philological disciplines have acquired further study ; results - the pedagogical conditions of training future teachers of philological disciplines for organization of senior pupils' educational and research activity have undergone experimental testing and are recommended for the implementation in the process of initial training of teachers of philological disciplines and in the process of their professional development.
