Object of study: the responsibility of the individual.Subject of study: the psychological structure of responsibility as an integral personality of policemen.In order to solve the major problems in research work has been used a range of methods, namely systematic method; method displayed subjectivity; modeling method; method of theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific sources on issues investigated; method of scientific observation; method of psycho-diagnostic testing; method of peer reviews; method of mathematical statistics (correlation, cluster, factor analysis).Psychodiagnostic complex includes the following methods: methods' level of subjective control "(RSK), developed by E.F. Bazhin, E.A.Golynkina and A.M.Etkind; sixteenths factor R.Kettell personality questionnaire (16-PF, R. Cattell); "Self-actualization Test" (CAT) developed by J. E. Aleshin, LY Gozman and MV Zahikoyu (adaptation questionnaire E.Shostrom personal orientations (Personal Orientation Inventory, E.Shostrom); diagnostic method of interpersonal relationships (modified variant methods T. Leary).The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that first: Created a differential model of the responsibility of the police and operatized its main components (Discipline, responsibility for themselves and responsibility for others), each next level contains the elements of the preceding; Proved that the Internal self-actualization and personal factors as the most revealing the essence of responsibility as absorb the characteristics of its many features associated with it; but the responsibility is not the same Internal; Theoretically and empirically studies confirmed the relationship of responsibility with significant personal characteristics, combined in two blocks ("block adaptability" and "frustration intolerance block"); A conceptual scheme in which the formation of responsibility policemen considered in the light of the structure of self-actualization, which is three blocks: block implementation self-actualization trends in behavior, sensory- self-actualization block and block self-actualization guidelines; - Has received the further development of the concept of "responsibility policemen", which actively implemented through: communication and openness to new information, susceptibility to positive emotions, courage, determination, desire for risk and thrill to the high level of motivation.The practical significance of the study. The data on the individual responsibility of features can be used in teaching lectures and practical courses and masters by subject: "Differential Psychology", "Psychology of Personality", " Juridical Psychology"; in the construction of educational work in schools, universities and professional training at police officers. Basic theoretical and empirical research results implemented in teaching "differential psychology" at Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University (Act implementation №16 from 14.09. 2014) and psychological support activity department of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Odessa region (Act Implementation №24 of 01.10.2014).
