Kulyk Z. Olena Teliga's social, political and cultural activities.

The thesis deals with research of O.Teliga's social, political and cultural activities. The purpose of work is to investigate the prerequisites of O.Teliga's self-identity formation and the process of O.Teliga becoming socio-political and cultural activist. There are also fixed a number of scientific problems, the most significant of which are: the contribution of the poetess in the number of foreign non-governmental organizations, the work of activist at the time of being Chairman of the restored Union of Ukrainian Writers and editor of the literary and artistic supplement to the newspaper "Ukrainian word" - "Litavry" . It was researched that on O. Teliga's initiative was created a food cooperative "Word". Also Ukrainian poetess participated in the Red Cross enterprises. It was analyzed her activity in Ukrainian student's community in Warsaw, heading organization "Zarevo" in Krakow, which was an offshoot of the organization "Prosvita", her activity in Ukrainian section of Slavik Community. It is pointed out her teaching at the school and the activities in the organization "Plast" for juniors. The author shows the social position of the poetess through her works.
