Krymska O. Landownership of the Cities and Towns of Podillia Province at the End of the XVIII - Beginning of the XX Century: a Historical Aspect.

Thesis is devoted to the complex study of the specific functioning and evolutional peculiarities of the landownership in the cities and towns of Podillia province at the end of the XVIII - beginning of the XX century. On the basis of an objective analysis of archival documents and materials, published sources, domestic and foreign historiography the research fully analyzes realization of an administrative and territorial organization, implementation of infrastructure of the local governing bodies, the gradual formation of tsarist normative and legal basis in urban settlements landownership, its inclusion into the economic system of the empire, the influence of social and class evolution, ethnic changes and religious transformations in the landownership of the cities and towns of Podillia province.
