The thesis presents the results of the theoretical and experimental study of the pre-professional training of foreign applicants for study at medical universities. The basic concepts "foreign applicants", "pre-professional training of foreign applicants for study at medical universities" are analyzed. On the basis of the theoretical analyses the pre-professional training of foreign applicants for study at medical universities is defined as a developing system which is a unity of content, structure and goals of training and education aimed at forming psychological and moral qualities, knowledge and skills, the acquisition of which allows foreign applicants to study at medical university.
