Essay

The Dissertation is devoted to a complex research of the problem of the Ukrainian village’s way of life and leisure in the period of increasing of the systematic crises in the 1960-1980th years. The material conditions of life of the rural population, quantitative and qualitative indices of dwelling-house, domestic conveniences that is defined daily existence’s comfort, providing with goods of the first necessity and the ways of existence are analyzed in the work. The key social-domestic problems are discovered. Besides, the villagers’ health that depended on the environment’s factors, ecological situation and safety measures at the industry are also discovered. It is pointed to the state’s measures which are directed at limitation and overcoming of the negative influence on the rural society, social state’s improvement of separate categories of inhabitants. It is pointed to the peculiarities of the social and legal relations in the village which are conditioned by the Soviet legislative system and socialist way of life. The decorative-applied art’s place in daily rural life and transformation of the separate kinds of domestic crafts are introduced in the work. The ways of leisure among Ukrainian villagers and possibilities of pleasure of the rural inhabitants’ cultural necessities are analyzed. In the analysis of the religious-world-outlooking orientation’s transformation and the models of the rural population’s daily behavior the influence on the process of the anti-religious measures of the state, inculcation of the new Soviet rite, the forming of the communist morality in the rural environment have been investigated and the place of the folk-religious rite in daily life of the villagers’ practice has been defined.
