Essay

The object is double substantival constructions (DSC) as morphosyntactic units of poetic text of XX XXI centuries; the aim is to define types of double substantival constructions with different semantic and syntactic relations between their components, specify peculiarities of their functioning in poetic text of XX XXI centuries; methods that are used: transformational analysis, semasiological, comparative analysis, contextual and interpretative, descriptive, linguo-poetic analysis; novelty - for the first time morphosyntactic units "noun - hyphen - noun" that function in poetic text are chosen as the object of multi-aspect linguistic analysis; classification of DSC types is developed; DSC with dependent semantic and syntactic relations and DSC with independent semantic and syntactic relations are delimited; DSC that have syncretical nature and unite properties of several groups are singled out; constructions formally similar to DSC, termed in the thesis as quasi DSC, are classified; polynomial substantival constructions are described; peculiarities of DSC poetic use are described; functions that DSC fulfill in poetic text are considered; DSC in poetic individual styles are analised; results - the actual material, the main points and conclusions of the thesis can be used when compiling a dictionary of the Russian poetry and also in academic activity (for preparing text-books, lecture courses and special courses in stylistics, linguistic text analysis, poetic grammar, while writing coursework and graduation work at philology department); field - linguistics.
