The thesis includes an analysis of the genetic structure of brodstock of silver and bighead carp of different regions of Ukraine by the phenotypic traits and different types of molecular genetic markers and level of somatic mutagenesis by using micronucleus test. It has been studied the level of polymorphism of silver and bighead carps in different zones of fish culture and found out of species, age and seasonal differences.
