Essay

The thesis presents the results of studying the polymorphism of genes ACTN1, FSH?, OPNin6 associated with reproductive qualities of boars, and PLIN1 and PLIN2 associated with fattening and meat qualities in pigs of a different direction of the productivity. It has been determined perspective directions of using genotyping animals for mentioned loci in the practical selection. The molecular-genetic analysis was carried out on a choice in six breeds and between breeds hybrids of pigs from fat to ultra meat directions of productivity - the Large White breed, the Large Black breed, Myrgorod breed, the Poltava Meat breed, Landrace and hybrid animals of the Large White?Landrace.
