The historic-pedagogical analysis of the development of music education and upbringing in Bukovyna during the interwar period (1918-1940) has been done. The specific features and trends of music education and upbringing development in schools of Bukovyna have been described. Socio-historical, cultural and educational circumstances of music education and training development in Bukovyna have been revealed. The main stages of music education and upbringing development have been identified and characterized. The content, the organizational and methodological principles, legislative framework, didactic support of musical education and training in various types of educational institutions of Bukovyna have been analyzed.
