Essay

The content of the notion "pedagogical press of preschool direction" has been grounded and preconditions of its formation have been determined. Retrospective analysis of pedagogical press of preschool direction of the end of the XIX century - 1990-s has been done, and its influence over the determination of the aim and the content of preschool education in Ukraine has been grounded. The influence of pedagogical press over the professional preparation of teachers to the work with children in the establishments of preschool education has been proved. The ways of optimization of pedagogical press influence over the reforming preschool education in Ukraine in the modern period have been indicated.
