Kolomiiets O. Formation of psychological readiness of managers of power supplying companies for management.

The dissertation deals with psychological aspects of management readiness of managers of power supplying companies. It contains theoretical substation, methodological foundation and the results of the empirical investigation of the problem in question. The work analyzes psychological aspects of power supplying companies' management and the distinctive characteristics of managers' work. The author reveals the structure and content of psychological aspects of managers' management readiness in power supplying companies. The empirical investigation found a number of problems in the formation of the basic components and the overall measure of managers' psychological readiness for management in power supplying companies. The levels of development of the main components and the overall measure of power supplying company managers' psychological readiness for management were found to statistically significantly correlate with mezo-level factors (power supplying companies' type of activities) and micro-level factors (managers' positions, education, length of service, and age). The author presents a specially developed technology for formation of power supplying company managers' psychological readiness for management and discusses some aspects and the results of its experimental application. The initial investigation hypothesis about the effects of mezo- and micro-level factors and psychological conditions on the formation of psychological readiness for management in managers of power supplying companies was fully confirmed.
