Thesis deals with the topical problem of removing phytoplankton cells at the stage of water-intake with a little of turbid of surface waters. Based of the analysis, the feasibility of using water intake treatment of filter with a layer of foamed polystyrene of removing phytoplankton cells at the stage of water-intake. Presentation of different regularities during phytoplankton removal by the layer of foamed polystyrene filtration. Mathematic simulation of processes inside of filter. Realization of mathematic simulators and providing them into engineering calculation of main technological parameters at the water intake treatment of filter with a layer of foamed polystyrene. Evaluation of different factors and inputs which can influence on purification process. An economic assessment for the use of the proposed technical solutions design of community water intake treatment of filter with a layer of foamed polystyrene was done.
