Prikhodko A. The social sex upbringing of the children in Ukrainian peasant family of the XIXth - the beginning of the XX century

Dissertation is devoted to analysis of the experience and traditions of the social sex upbringing of the children in Ukrainian peasant family of the XIXth - the beginning of the XX century. The analysis of numerous scientific works has given the possibility to define the author's periodization of the development of native historiography concerning to the problem of the social sex children upbringing. The author gives some information about factors (gender stratification, gender stereotypes and beliefs) of the formation of native traditions social sex upbringing of the children. The principles, basic laws and features of the process of the social sex upbringing of the children in Ukrainian peasant family of the XIXth - the beginning of the XX century were described by the author. Much attention is given to the analysis, with gender approach position, means (ethnopedagogics ideals, work, folklore, children's games and toys) and forms (individual and group involvement of children in rituals of life and calendar cycles peasant family) of the social sex upbringing of the children in Ukrainian peasant family of the XIXth - the beginning of the XX century.
