Essay

The thesis discovers philosophical and methodological potential of project education in the context of contemporary social and cultural challenges. The project education as the complex phenomenon is defined. The becoming of project education in the context of neopragmatism, social constructivism, emancipatory pegagogy and the philosophy of dialogue is analyzed. The possibilities of Ukrainian education system for implementation of the project education are revealed. The analysis of transformative changes in the content of education from the position of projection at all levels is done. The need for innovative personality formation as a human project maker in the information society is proved. The obtained results have considerably changed the understanding of project education in philosophical and educational discourse by giving the philosophical dimension to the content of this concept, defining the project education as a sort of transformative learning.
