Matter: the process of formation of professionally significant qualities of future doctors; Aim: scientifically substantiate, elaborate and check experimentally the educational conditions which contribute to increasing the effectiveness of professionally significant qualities of future doctors forming during studying social & humanitarian subjects; Methods: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, comparison, analogy, juxtaposition, observation, survey, testing, talking, questioning, expert estimation, independent characteristics summarizing, diagnostics of formation levels of professionally significant qualities of future doctors; pedagogical experiment, quantitative and qualitative data processing with mathematic statistics methods; Novelty: pedagogical conditions ensuring successful forming of professionally significant qualities of future doctors during the studying social & humanitarian subjects are theoretically based and experimentally proved; the notion “professionally significant qualities of future doctors” is specified; scientific conceptions about professional training of future doctors, theoretic bases of professionally significant qualities of future doctors forming in the higher educational establishments, determining role of social & humanitarian subjects in professional doctors’ training are further developed; contents, forms and methods of medical students training during studying social & humanitarian subjects, which provide professionally significant qualities forming are improved; the results of the study can be used during professional doctors’ training in different educational establishments of various accreditation levels, in the system of post-graduate professional education of various medical specialists’ training; field: theory and methodology of professional education.
