Essay

The Object - the combination of narrative media-texts, represented within the content of contemporary Ukrainian printed mass media. The Purpose - distinguishing the main socio-codes of newest Ukrainian social and informational system within the person's media-narrative. The Methods - contemporary-historical; analysis and synthesis; the method of analyzing scientific literature, comparison and generalization; theoretical and typological; narrative and semiotic analysis; statistical and frequency; verification of the results, received with comparison in the field's term. The research focuses on the emergence and transformations of basic social codes within mental framework of their functioning on the example of the collection of socially determined narratives in the content of Ukrainian mass media. It has been established that the use of narrative semiotic analysis in the investigation of surface and deep structures of personalized media narrative as a form of delivering information allows singling out information on the social code of the society in the relevant temporal and spatial boundaries. The study has established semantic manifestation of basic social codes of contemporary information system in the context of narrative media discourse: strong appeal to the Ukrainians' national consciousness with the help of emphasizing patriotism as an emulation sample; active attempts to renovate historical memory of Ukraine via famous persons and their personal contribution into the country's development; popularizing science and arts via the promotion of interest in these persons' creative activity.
