Khodakevych O. Psychological features of students' attitudes to money.

The dissertation deals with the distinctive psychological features of students' attitudes to money. The research work contains the theoretical substantiation, methodology and the results of the empirical study of the problem in question. The author reveals the psychological essence of money, its functions as well as the basic approaches to the money psychology study. The definition of "money attitude" and the structure of person's attitude to money are given in the work. The general students' attitudes to money, the evaluation of the role of money in students' life, students' attitudes to the ways they get and earn money are empirically researched by the author. The author also studies students' evaluation of the role of higher educational establishments and their assistance in combining study with work as well as in earning money. The empirical investigation determines "external" and "internal" factors effecting students' attitudes to money. Psychological conditions for the formation of students' attitudes to money are substantiated. A training course "Psychological features of students' attitudes to money" based on technological approach and the use of various interactive techniques (problem lectures, group discussions, "brain storm", role plays, etc) is an effective form for the formation of realistic money attitudes of students.
