Author determines the five periods of formation and development of new Ukrainian-Polish cultural relations, defines their general and legal principles. Attention is paid to the fact that the ongoing dialogue at the highest level, the cooperation in culture, education, science, the activities of Ukrainian-Polish Committee of Experts on improving the content of school textbooks on history and geography have played an important in the formation of the modern Ukrainian-Polish historical memory, overcoming mutual Ukrainian-Polish stereotypes and forming new ideas about the common pages of history.
