The author considers characteristic features of functioning of local industry under the conditions of the war and in the postwar years, directions of enterprise productive activities on ensuring the needs of the economy and social sector of the republic, life support for population, factors that have caused not only positive results, but negatively affected the reconstruction process and industry operation.
