The thesis presents the theoretical analysis of the problem for future social workers' professional training solution as to their media literacy formation. The thesis highlights condition, content, features of media education at the higher educational establishments. The essence of concepts "media education of future social workers", "future social workers' media literacy" is specified. The criteria, indicators and media literacy levels of the future social workers' development are defined. The study is theoretically substantiated and implemented into social and educational conditions and algorithm of future social workers' media literacy formation is tested and the effectiveness of their influence on the students' media literacy formation is examined.
