Pidvalna Y. Educational activities and pedagogical views of Andrievskii Alexei Alexandrovich (1845-1902)

The thesis presents a new approach to solving an important and actual challenge, which consists in revealing and identifying educational activities and views of Alexei Alexandrovich Andrievskii against the background of general historical development of Ukrainian statehood in the late ХІХ - early ХХ century. The major factors of the scientist's beliefs formation (family relations, cultural, educational, scientific and educational) are found out, that allowed to reproduce the life and career of the scientist. Three stages of educational and teaching activities are defined: (1866-1879) - the stage of A. Andrievskii personality formation as a teacher and educator; (1879-1881) - the stage of an intensive research work under the conditions of deportation; (1881-1902) - the stage of intensive educational work. teaching activities of general views O. Andrievskiy are analyzed in the context of the era development and some aspects of educational, social and cultural activity of the scientist. Biographical information about the life and work of A. Andrievskii (dates, places, reasons of his service migration during his teaching and social work) is clarified; also the list of educational and pedagogical works are expanded.
