Essay

The dissertation is devoted to philosophical analysis of humanistic foundations of social work in modern society. It has a special social dynamic stipulated by the immanent humanistic potential (of social work) and the corresponding efficiency and effectiveness as well. In philosophical terms humanistic foundations of social work are determined by the level of social adaptation of the individual and the construction of social life on the basis of recognition of fundamental human values. The peculiarity and contradictions of social work in modern Ukrainian society are determined and the philosophical understanding of the possible ways to optimize the specified activity is offered.
