Adamovich Z. Socio-geographical systems of global knowledge economy.

The features of knowledge economy formation and development in the socio-geographical systems at global, megaregional, national and regional levels have been investigated in the thesis. Theoretical generalization of conceptual approaches, scientific hypotheses and modern concepts of knowledge economy have been conducted, gist of concept "knowledge economy" and conceptual and terminology apparatus of its socio-geographical research have been extended. Method of social and geographical assessment of knowledge economy has been developed. Geospatial analysis of knowledge economy development at the global, megaregional, national and regional levels has been investigated. Typology of countries based on the knowledge economy development in terms of indicators that are taken for knowledge economy index calculating has been proposed. Knowledge economy "output" components in the socio-geographical systems with different levels of knowledge economy are analyzed. Identification of issues and determination of specific features for each type are conducted. The algorithm of analysis of cause-and-effect relations between the knowledge economy components in the socio-geographical systems is improved.
