Essay

The following results: the improvement the design of pressureless multilayer filter with perpendicular filtering and backwashing, which reduces operating costs, are substantiated; mathematical models of the processes of work of the filter of improved design in the filtration and flushing mode; theoretical and experimental researches that allowed to study the influence of parameters of filter of improved design on the efficiency of its work, and to develop recommendations for the designing and operation were conducted; the efficiency of the separate backwashing of layers of filtering media was substantiated. The results of these studies and developed recommendations accepted for implementation.
