Stavytska A. Formation and development of archaeological education in Ukraine (1917–1924 years).

The dissertation is devoted to the complex investigation of settlement and development of archaeological education in Ukraine in 1917–1924. Current status and degree of scrutiny problem in historiography were analyzed in the work. The main groups of sources were reviewed and classified.The consistent patterns and specificity of the origin and formation of archaeological education in Ukraine by the example of Kyiv and Odessa Institutes of archaeology are introduced in the work. The structure of their educational and research units were elucidated. It is pointed to the organization of educational process. The main areas of educational, social and political activity of representatives of the faculty and students of Kyiv and Odessa Institutes of archaeology are introduced in the work. The contribution of the most famous domestic archaeologists – teachers and students of Kyiv and Odessa Institutes of archaeology in the further development of archaeological science were discovered and systematized.
