Having studied a wide variety of sources in this thesis, we have made a comprehensive performance characteristics of Eastern Galicia preservationists during the period from the middle of the 19th century through the beginning of the 20th century. In particular, the reasons of the formation of “The Circle of Caesar and king’s preservationists and correspondents of Eastern Galicia” have been elucidated, the main directions of its activity have also been defined.
