Object - the process of professional practice for students of higher printing vocational technical schools; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated conditions of professional practice organization on the level of professional interest formation in students of higher printing vocational technical schools ; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research is the first to provide theoretical substantiation and practical testing of pedagogical conditions of professional interest forming in students of higher printing vocational technical schools during their professional practice; the definition of the term "professional interest of students of higher printing vocational technical schools" is specified as a complex of personality's psychic qualities representing intellectual, emotional and determination activity directed at mastering the profession and accompanied with a selective attitude to means of professional training, knowledge, skills and habits that are necessary for a future professional; the criteria of professional interest formation in students of higher printing vocational technical schools and their indices are analysed; the specific character of professional interest forming in students of higher printing vocational technical schools during their professional practice is considered; the forms and methods of professional practice organization with the focus on professional interest forming in students of higher printing vocational technical schools have acquired further study; results - the theoretically substantiated pedagogical conditions of professional interest forming in students of higher printing vocational technical schools during their professional practice have undergone experimental testing and are recommended for the implementation in higher printing vocational technical schools. The scientific and methodological materials of the research will be helpful to teachers and instructors of professional training and will allow for the improvement of professional training of future specialists in printing, they will be useful for compiling textbooks and teaching manuals. The materials of the dissertation may be used by Master degree students and students in the system of professional development doing the course "Higher School Pedagogy"; field - pedagogy.
