Essay

The demarcation of socio-philosophical and philosophical-historical methodology was successfully accomplished: while for the socio-philosophical methodology the priority meaning belongs to the principles of development and functions of the social development theory, thus for the philosophical and historical views are more important the theories of the historical processes and the principle of historicism. The new challenges for the historical consciousness, which primarily consist of contradictory tendencies, resulting in lack of universally accepted typology and diversity of methods for its interpretation are being systematized.
