Object of researches - varietal characteristics of the formation of seed yield of winter wheat and sowing qualities depending on predecessors, terms of sowing, growth regulators in the soil and climatic conditions of the zone of risky conduct seed Western Steppe. The purpose of research - fully justify reaction Cort winter wheat listed in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine, predecessors, sowing, pre-treatment of seed and foliar application of growth regulators in the soil and climatic conditions of Western Steppe, on this basis, to identify the optimal parameters of seed productivity and sowing qualities seeds and develop the theoretical background in the practical application of their seed. Methods of researches - standard. The thesis presents the results of studies conducted in the western Forest-Steppe of Ukraine laws of formation of productive properties and sowing qualities of seeds of winter wheat varieties of different types of forest-steppe ecological maturity groups for nontraditional precursors (winter canola, oats), sowing dates (optimal, acceptable, late), presowing treatment seed and foliar feeding plants with growth-regulators. It is established that in the soil and climatic conditions of the zone on gray forest surface-gley soils of high potential productivity of winter wheat can be implemented on the basis of low-cost, highly efficient and environmentally friendly winter hardiness, which include varieties that respond well to non-traditional predecessors, sowing dates and growth-regulators. It is proved that winter canola as a precursor, provides high seed production and seed quality of winter wheat in particular, seed yield, yield of certified seed, multiplication factor and sowing dates effect on seed germination, duration of the autumn growing season, their growth and development, winter hardiness, resistance of plants to disease. The decrease yield, yield certified seeds, multiplication factor, coarse fraction and the increase in mean and smoll fraction are observed on displasing of soving dates to late. Seed pre-treatment with growth-regulator Vympel-K stimulates seed germination, and combination with cutside-reet feeding plants in autumn in the II stage of organogenesis Vympel improves germination, wintering plants, their optimal growth and development during the growing season contributes to the increase in yield and improves seed quality. The economic evaluation of the studied elements of technology of cultivation of winter wheat on seeds is given. Results of researches are entered in the state enterprise research economy "Obrochino" of the Lvov area on the area 100 hа. Economic benefit - 2,41 thousand grn./hа. Sphere of use - an agricultural production.
