Essay

The dissertation focuses on the comprehensive study of peculiarities in development of Chernihiv necropolis in last last third of ХVІІІ - early ХХ century. The affection of all-Russian constitutions on modernization in burial sphere is determined. The topography of local burial complexes in Chernihiv is reproduced. The ethno-confessional specificity of Chernihiv necropolis is represented.The construction of burial problems in social discourse is defined. The typology of grave-stones in local cemeteries is constituted. The peculiarities of texts in epitaphs as forms of preservation of social and historical memory of population in Chernihiv are revealed.
