The object is a professional training of students of pedagogical college. The aim is to prove scientifically and test experimentally pedagogical conditions of formation of interpretative competence of students of pedagogical college. Methods are theoretical, empirical, statistical. Novelty - pedagogical conditions of formation of interpretative competence of students of pedagogical college have been defined and scientifically proved. The essence and structure of the phenomenon of "interpretive competence of students of pedagogical college" have been defined. The model of formation of interpretative competence of students of pedagogical college in the process of professional training has been developed; the concepts of "interpretation", "professional competence"; "interpretative competence" have been specified. The methods of preparation of students of pedagogical college to professional work have been further developed. Results - diagnostic and experimental methods of forming of interpretative competence of students of pedagogical college have been developed. The effectiveness of implementation is high.
