Essay

The dissertation investigates the historical aspect of the health care system in Galicia in the 1918-1939 years. It examines the progress of development of the Ukrainian national medicine in Galicia in the late XIX - early XX century. Sanitary-hygienic organization during the Second Polish Republic (1919-1939 years) is covered. Also its operation in the fight against infectious diseases is highlighted. The activity of national health institutions in terms of the Polish occupation of land is described.
